LinkkWinkk
LinkkWinkk introduces professionals who travel the same route at the same hours, so they
can meet on a commute they were already making. It runs in this browser tab. You can add it
to your phone's home screen, which is your browser's own feature and installs no software.
There is nothing to download.
How it works
- You sign in with LinkedIn. The sign-in happens on LinkedIn's own site, and LinkkWinkk
never sees or asks for your LinkedIn password. No page here has a password field.
- You enter the areas you travel between and the hours you travel.
- You are shown other members on the same route, and you can message them and arrange
to meet.
What this site does not do
- It never asks for a password, for LinkedIn or for anything else.
- It never asks for card, bank or UPI details. It handles no money of any kind and takes
no commission.
- It never asks for a government identity number or a photograph of an identity
document.
- It offers no file to download and no software to install.
Who runs it
LinkkWinkk is operated by an individual from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is independent
and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by LinkedIn; LinkedIn is used only as a
way to sign in. Write to
linkkwinkk@gmail.com with any question.
LinkkWinkk is in closed beta. Some screens show sample data, and say so, because there are
not yet enough members to fill them.
